A Magical Place

Casa Clerigo is located in the small settlement of Monte Clerigo Beach on the Western Algarve in the Vicentine Coast Natural Park,  near the charming town of Aljezur. Being located in the Natural Park, Monte Clerigo Beach is completely unspoilt and worlds away from the ravages of modern tourism.  This is beach holiday the way it used to be.

The house sits on an elevated site overlooking the beach, with a small path leading down to the beach. You can't get much closer to the ocean than this.

Monte Clerigo Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Portugal. With fine sand and great waves, it caters to beach bums as well as to ambitious surfers. For beginners, nearby Arrifana Beach offers perfect conditions. Monte Clerigo has a handful of laid back cafes and restaurants like A Rede and O Sargo with  great food, live music and fullmoon parties.

Casa Clerigo is a cozy fisherman's cottage which was completely renovated in 2021, with careful attention to maintaining historical details like doors and windows.

It has four bedrooms (one room with a 160 x 200 double bed, one room with a 140 x 190 french double bed, one room with two 90 x 190 single beds and one bedroom with a single 90 x 190 bed), two bathrooms, a guest toilet, a fully furnished open kitchen and an open living and dining area. The total area of the house is approximately 110 square meters. 

There is plenty of parking space on the 2.500 square meter property. Free Wifi.
